Saltwater Cottage is a real home from Home. There are 2 private off road parking spaces for your convenience. Once inside. the modern kitchen diner is fully equipped with integrated appliances (oven/hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washer dryer) and boasts everything you’ll need for a self catering break. The lounge is light and spacious with French doors to the lovely rear garden with table and chairs for al fresco dining. There is also a downstairs WC. Upstairs the 3 bedrooms have ample storage and comfortable beds with a double master suite, a 2nd bedroom with zip and link beds that can be arranged as twin beds or a king, and, finally, a cosy bunk bedroom. The bathroom has a bath with shower over and the en suite shower room to the master bedroom ensures there’s never a queue for the bathroom after a day at the beach! Please treat the house as if it was your own. We love dogs and welcome them at the cottage but please let us know at the time of booking if you are planning on bringing dogs (additional charges apply).
We love walking our dogs on the beach at Camber and the lovely historic town of Rye nearby. We've created a home from home with Saltwater Cottage and hope you enjoy it.
The beach at Camber, with it's stunning sand dunes, is outstanding and always features in top beach articles. Children and dogs love running up and down the dunes - they make a great picnic spot in the summer and are the perfect location for sipping wine watching the sun set. Lifeguards are now also employed on the beach during the summer months to ensure safety. The beach is dog friendly all year round (In the summer dogs are restricted to certain parts of the beach) so it's a great holiday destination if you're bringing along your four legged friend! Other than the beach there are two great gastro pubs in Camber....The Owl which has great staff, delicious food and a nice vibe (it's dog friendly too!) and The Gallivant is also worth a visit - slightly more upmarket with great food and a lovely setting. Rye is a short bike ride (cycle path all the way), drive or bus ride away and is well worth a visit. The medieval cobbled streets and quaint shops, pubs and restaurants have something for everyone. The recently refurbished cinema is fantastic and The George Inn, The Mermaid and The Ship Inn shouldn't go unvisited!
