Although guest receive a non contact self check-in, we are able to answer any questions and will aim to resolve any issues asap. Contact details are provided before arrival and we own the campsite opposite and work there if you need anything!

Efail Isaf (The Old Smithy) is a picturesque holiday cottage set at the base of the Black Mountains, in the heart of the Brecon Beacons. Excellent pub nearby. Dog friendly. Glorious views of the mountains from the garden. Renowned for picturesque footpaths stretching deep across the national park, guests can experience walks from the door leading to Tretower, Bwlch, Cwmdu and Crickhowell. Sleeping up to 6 people in 3 rooms. Stay warm and cosy by the fireplace, perfectly set for relaxing after a long walk. Efail Isaf is the perfect place for walking, biking, canoeing, or exploring the Brecon Beacons.

Neighbourhood information

Beautiful set in the Brecon Beacons along a quite stretch of valley away from busy streets. Wonderful pub within walking distance. Guests will find endless walks right from the doorstep. Whether they prefer mountain, river, or flat trails, all options are available. Walking various walking paths would be preferable. A car is necessary for further ventures around the Brecon Beacons area.
