I am from England and was a PE teacher working in international schools, mainly in Asia. I've lived overseas most of my life, growing up in Indonesia. I've also recently moved back to the UK from living in China. The main reason for moving back was to be in living in nature and the Lake District has it all. I love stand up paddle boarding, Hyrox competitions, hiking, wild swimming and cooking.

Property information

Our house is located in the quiet town of Patterdale, a 2 minute drive from Glenridding. We are surrounded by mountains and farms and only a short walk away to Ullswater Lake and the start of the trail leading to Mount Helvellyn. The house has a big back garden with spectacular views. The bedrooms are uniquely decorated with furniture and art from Indonesia. Guests will sleep in four poster beds. @schoolhousepatterdale
