Company information

Hosted by Tim And Lucy who are Super-host! We are Tim and Lucy and we live on the stunning Suffolk Heritage Coast with our son Jack and our daughter Emily. We have been successfully letting our cottages: Arwen cottage in Aldeburgh, Thimble cottage in Southwold, Albion House and Stable cottage in Saxmundham via our companies Aldeburgh Seaside Cottages, Southwold Seaside Cottages and Seaside Luxury Cottages. Our properties are self-catering. We are thrilled to have met such interesting people and received such lovely feedback for it. Tim was born and bred in beautiful Suffolk and I was born in Lima-Peru and brought up in Milan-Italy. I speak Spanish, Italian, French, German and English. As my husband’s family is from Suffolk we have strong ties with this beautiful part of the world. Having travelled extensively we have been inspired by the good things we have come across in properties we have stayed in. As you can tell, we are passionate about providing somewhere special that our guests will love, enjoy and return to. We feel incredibly lucky to be able to live in this part of the world and are loving sharing our cottages with some amazing people from the Booking community

Neighbourhood information

⛱️Thimble Cottage is located in Suffolk's Heritage Coast, England, United Kingdom. Southwold is a picturesque and beautiful English seaside town, set in a time warp and preserved perfectly. The sandy beach is adorned with a string of colourful beach huts that lead along to Southwold Pier at one end and towards Southwold Harbour at the other end. One of Southwold's main attractions is its working lighthouse. Southwold boasts several excellent pubs and restaurants as well as a range of independent shops and galleries. There is a pretty walk through the harbour and over a footbridge to the picture-postcard village of Walberswick, home to two good pubs (The Anchor and The Bell) and a long sandy beach. Fresh fish can be bought from the fish huts along the harbour. Southwold is home to the Adnams Brewery and the Town’s excellent pubs, including one of our personal favourites, The Lord Nelson – where you can try a range of Adnams bitters. Thimble cottage is set right on Southwold's vibrant high street, where there are a number of interesting quaint shops to browse around plus those catering for all essentials – including... a newsagents; a bakers – selling bread and cakes bake
