In the heart of Thurlestone village, SEAVIEW HOUSE offers BED AND BREAKFAST ACCOMODATION in two light and airy rooms ( the other listing has a king sized bed and an ensuite bathroom). This bedroom has either a king size bed or can be separated to twin beds. It has a spacious private shower room. Your ground floor bedrooms have well dressed beds and the bathrooms have a cheery seaside feel.
The bedrooms are restful, the food is good and your host is interesting and well-travelled Enjoy the sea view from the breakfast area and a menu of your choice to the sound of seagulls and classical music. Your host is fun and well-travelled, and this house has heaps of personality: driftwood carvings above an open fire, a charcoal nude, a Rajasthani mirror embroidery hanging, white sofas, polished antiques and French style painted furniture.
Walk to Burgh Island from this welcoming, arty home. The five great beaches are all within walking distance and a ferry will take you across the river to Burgh Island; there's a cliff-top golf and tennis club and The Village in and Thurlestone Hotel are a few minutes walk from the house. Kingsbridge and Salcombe (full of boats and cafés) are a short drive.
