Seaview luxury pod is a family size pod boasting with extra ground space than your standard pods,giving you extra comfort & space to move around in,the pod is situated on a private plot on a working Croft with cattle,sheep and hens offering you views of the Croft & giving you beautiful sea views into broad bay,the pod offers all crockery & utensils needed ,bed linen & towels are supplied,there is a laundry shed on site for guests own use with a washing machine and a four pole washing line outside to dry your laundry,the shed offers a place to hang your wet suits and an indoor dry rack for your wet laundry too,there’s plenty of outdoor space to off load your kayaks or bikes,on arrival you’ll be welcomed with some tea & coffee and some fresh home baking

We are husband and wife Scott & Elsie with 3 sons Stephen,John & Thomas,we live on the same street as the pod,we have an egg honesty box and the Garrabost bake box at our Croft gate offering fresh eggs and fresh home baking stocked up daily,we work our crofts of cattle,sheep and hens with daily chores and various other jobs throughout the year such as shearing the sheep and dipping,we lamb every spring,this year we lambed 72 lambs,during the summer months we’ll get the tractors out for cutting and with the help of a neighbour we’ll turn and bale the grass making hay for the sheep or haylage for the cows,we homeschool our sons with the oldest been working a full time job for 4 years in civil engineering as a plant operator and our two youngest still being schooled are extremely hands on and thrive on the big outdoors,the boss of the family (Scott) works full time during the day and works the crofts during the evening and weekends but the real boss (Elsie) holds the fort 24/7 doing all the jobs needing done 😉 our beautiful pod situated further along the road brings our guests closer to the outdoors offering breathtaking sea views and views of a working croft bringing you closer to nature.

Seaview luxury pod is situated in the village of Garrabost 7 miles from the town of Stornaway,it offers a taste of rural living but with having the town only 10mins down the road you won’t feel too cut of from society,Garrabost offers picturesque views within an extremely friendly community,take a stroll along the cliffs to see the sites of seals sunbathing on the rocks of broadbay or watch the wild birds from the doorstep of the pod and you might catch a view of a white tail sea eagle,with so many beautiful beaches close by your spoilt for choice ,visit the 91 steps which is a beach further along in point or you have bayble beach or the braighe beach where you can also visit the stunning UI church,Garrabost is a great base location for anyone wishing to visit the wonderful Isle of Lewis and Harris,there’s a local shop further down the road (key store),known locally as buth rubha and an egg honesty box and a fresh bake box (Garrabost bake box)a few Crofts away from the pod.
