Doris our shepherds hut is located in our paddock and meadow on the Somerset levels and has lovely views the over neighbouring fields.
There is plenty of parking adjacent to the paddock and access to Doris is via mown paths.
We are keen to encourage flora and fauna and manage the paddock accordingly.
Situated on the outskirts of a small village and the edge of the Somerset levels. We are ideally situated for sightseeing around Somerset.
Built around 1650, West End Farm is a traditional Somerset longhouse, set in a lovely garden.
We also have another shepherds hut available for stays called Daphne as well as an annexe room called Huberts.
One of the dairy farms sells fresh milk and local produce. Walkable from the pub. We have some lovely countryside walks or cycling routes, alternatively quietly meander to the larger villages of Wedmore or Mark. Or take a stroll down the road for a spot of birdwatching on the Somerset levels. Wedmore golf club is a short drive away
The Mendip hills, Cheddar, Glastonbury, Wells and Somerset coastline are only a short 20 minute drive away.
The M5, A38 and the train station of Highbridge and Burnham are a 10 minute drive.
The bus service is very limited.
