Hi, we are Daniel and Claire. We love to travel and have stayed in many Airbnbs over the years and our favourites have always been the ones that are unique and have spaces that we enjoying staying home in as much as exploring the area. We have renovated Shakespeare Cottage using inspiration from our years working in hospitality to design a comfortable and inviting home that we hope you will enjoy with family and friends. It was important to us to be as sustainable as possible sourcing lots of the furniture second hand and giving it the time and love needed to update it to match our style. We love to travel and aim to visit every country in the world! When we are home, we enjoy hosting our family and friends with plenty of good food and wine. We live and work abroad but Grace and Lucy live in Salisbury and will be available should you need anything.

Situated in a peaceful cul-de-sac very close to the railway station and city amenities, Shakespeare Cottage is an ideal base from which to explore the medieval cathedral city whilst enjoying stylish accommodation. We have designed the cottage so you'll enjoy staying in as much as venturing out! Salisbury's shops and restaurants are within a 10 minute walk, and sites like Stonehenge, Old Sarum and Wilton House are a short drive away. We look forward to welcoming you for your city break!

Salisbury still has twice-weekly charter markets which have run continuously since 1227! The Beautiful Cathedral, with the tallest spire in the UK and surrounded by a beautiful green area, is a 12 minute walk from the property. There are walks along the 5 rivers which flow through Salisbury easily accessible from the property. Old Sarum, an Iron Age Hill fortress, then Roman Fort, then original Cathedral is a beautiful 30 minute walk from the property. Stonehenge is a 20 minute drive, there are regular bus trips there from the station too. There are dozens of restaurants and cafes within a short walk of the cottage. Free on-street parking is available on a first come first served basis on all streets within parking Zone D. Whilst there is no parking on Shakespeare Place, there is plenty of parking on adjacent streets. Please share your car registration with us prior to arrival so we can arrange a digital permit.
