Skiddaw Croft Bed & Breakfast offers a warm welcome in the quiet village of Portinscale, within a short walk of Keswick Town. It is an Edwardian house, which provides spacious and comfortable rooms with spectacular views over Derwentwater and the surrounding Fells. All bedrooms are all fully equipped, 3 en-suite and offers a relaxing and cosy guest lounge with magazines and books for you to relax in and plan your next outing.

Neighbourhood information

Portinscale Village is located on the northern shores of Derwentwater with 2 marinas, offering a wide variety of water sports, a village pub, offering local beers and home cooked food, and easy access to local Fell walks. Portinscale is on the C2C Cycle Route. It also boasts a shop/café and hotel with public bar & restaurant, all within 5 minutes walk. Keswick is a 15-20 minute walk from Skiddaw Croft Bed & Breakfast along a flat, dedicated footpath. The Theatre by the Lake is a 1.5 mile walk, while Go Ape at Whinlatter Forest Park is a 3.5 mile drive away. There are numerous other attractions nearby.
