Slate Cottage is a cosy romantic cottage in the village of Tredethy near Bodmin in Cornwall. The cottage can sleep three people in a family room with one double and one single as well as a separate bathroom. The cottage also contains an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. To the outside of the property is off road parking for one car and a shared lawned garden with furniture and a front balcony with furniture. Located in a great area, Slate Cottage is a lovely property, suitable for a great property at any time of the year. Please note: This property only accepts 7 night stays during July, August and September along with Christmas and New Year. The vast and rugged Bodmin Moor, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with much of it declared a Site of Specific Scientific Importance. This ancient location is home to mystical standing stones, old buildings dating from medieval times and thousands of years’ worth of tin mining heritage. There are plenty of beautiful walks to discover, with challenging climbs up some of the tallest spots in Cornwall, offering fantastic far-reaching views towards both the north and south coast on fine days.
