Situated in Blaenau Ffestiniog in Snowdonia National Park an area of unparallelled natural beauty juxtaposed with a rich histioric Industrial heritage .128 has a lovely cosy style ,a peaceful hideaway harking back to gentler times. No TV , no wifi just settle in and let the mountains soothe your soul. Wooden sash windows, wood burner, old roll top bath lots of hot water and a well equipped kitchen. The small garden has lovely views of the surrounding mountains and waterfalls which can be reached for walks in under five minutes. Close to Zipworld, Antur Stiniog,Ffestioiog light railway, Llechwedd slate caverns, Portmierion, Portmadog, Betws Y Coed , Coed Y Brenin, Yr Wyddfa (snowdon) and all the attractions of the Beauty that is Eryri. Let you Inner Romantic roam free !
We Live in Corwen inThe Dee valley and have owned 128 for 29 years . There is something special about Blaenau . Only an hours drive from here the mountains are another world where you can breathe easier. Resist the urge to run about in the car and take time to explore the area on foot . The walks round here are stunning . Pack a nice picnic and just hit the hills , at the top of Crimea pass you can take the old road on foot down to Roman Bridge or cross The Lledr clamber up the slopes behind and get wonderful views of Siabod serene and peaceful and in the same frame Yr Wyddfa groaning under the weight of the hordes tramping up her . No need to go anywhere else when you are here because this is really somewhere . We hope you love it as much as we do and that it brings you a small measure of the pleasure it has given our family over the years . Croeso.
