A luxury timber lodge set in a hidden valley of twelve acres now protected by a large dragon which has arrived by magic. Songbird lodge offers all comforts of home (including wi-fi, smart TV, fully equipped kitchen, a lovely comfy bed with electric blanket, hot water & top spec air conditioning unit). Filmed by BBC Wales for Best Welsh homes series was aired in September 2022. We are perfectly located for hiking Snowdon, with 2 main paths only 5 & 10 minutes drive away.

I am delighted as a super host to make my guests feel welcome and cared for. I am available if needs be. I have lived in the area my entire life and will be able to help you with any questions you may have.
Our local brewpub is literally a few minutes walk away if you fancy a drink in the evening. The wonderful Welsh Highland Railway station is also a few minutes walk away and can take you in style and comfort past the beautiful Mt Snowdon. For those wanting to climb the mountain, the Ranger path is only 5 mins drive away. Slightly further you will find the Rhyd Ddu path (10 mins drive away).
A car is advisable and there is plenty of safe parking available.
