The property dates back to the late 1800’s and was built by the Lord of The Manor in the older part of the village. It has many features such as exposed beams and brick work, beautiful log burning fire and an old fireplace upstairs. The property has been completely renovated to an extremely high standard aiming to provide you with everything you could want or need for your stay.
We have 2 beautiful girls just about to go off on their own adventures, but we also love animals and have our own doggies. Design is our passion and we work in Fashion but our true escape is restoration and interior design, not forgetting the garden. We have poured this passion into our properties and extreme detail has gone into Spring Cottage to create a unique haven. We also love to travel and explore different Countries, villages and towns. We are foodies, so enjoy the local restaurants. Sport is important to us and we are lucky enough to have fab walks within easy reach and the Cotswold way is not too far, which David has ran! is he has a love of long distance running. We are very social & friendly and enjoy to help our guests with anything they need.
Bretforton is a historic, rural village in Worcestershire, often used as a location for film and T.V. seen in Land Girls, Father Brown, ITV’s village of the year, Countryfile to name but a few. Bretforton lies on the edge of The Cotswolds, 4.4 miles east of Evesham. lying between Cheltenham and Stratford upon Avon. Bretforton is perhaps most famous for being the location of The Fleece Inn, a 300-year old pub owned by the National Trust. The Fleece Inn is situated just around the corner, off The Cross and welcomes families and dogs offering great food. There is a large garden and is cosy inside on colder days with roaring fires. But that's not the only attraction Bretforton is a vibrant village with a host of amenities, attractions, clubs, societies and events, including a community shop, Treater Barn, sports club and cricket pitch and a riding school. There are plenty of walks in the surrounding Cotswolds and villages; such as Broadway and Chipping Campden with The Cotswold Way running through this area.
