Orion Holidays was founded 25 years ago by the owner, Mark Thomas. It is an independent, family-run, holiday cottage lettings business based centrally within the Cotswold Lakes region close to Cirencester. Mark and his friendly team's expert knowledge of the area, plus his close and long-standing relationship with many of the other local businesses, activity providers and suppliers, has played a key role in the growth and success of the business. Today with over 60 holiday homes under management and 25 years of supporting, our locally based team are passionate about sharing their love for this area of outstanding natural beauty and helping our guests have a wonderful holiday in the area.

The main attraction of Spring Lake is the water sports and that it is centrally located to enjoy the many local attractions, activities and other water sports available all around the Cotswold Lakes. The on-site popular Lakeside Bar & Brasserie offers excellent food, fine wine and beers with live sports on many screens. Be it from your decking, the restaurant, sun terrace or beer garden with a cool beverage you can watch the boat speed past with a water ski, wakeboard or fun inflatable ringos in tow. If you’re mad enough give it a go yourself! With many safe cycle trails and well marked footpaths you can head out and explore the abundant lakes, canals, nature reserves and rivers nearby. The cottages on Spring Lake are only 15 minutes drive from the market town of Cirencester, ‘the Capital of the Cotswolds’. They are also within walking distance from the village of South Cerney which offers a number of takeaways, pubs, restaurants and local convenience shops. Spring Lake is located within the Cotswold Lakes which is an area of natural beauty comprising over 180 lakes spread across 42 square miles.
