We live and work locally, so we’re always on hand if you need anything — from a great pub recommendation to last-minute help with the Wi-Fi. We’re passionate about this special part of the world, and love sharing the best of it with our guests. From Milford on Sea, Lymington and Christchurch Bay, to the wild heart of the New Forest National Park, there’s so much to see and do — and we’re always happy to point you in the right direction.

Tucked away on a peaceful lane just a short stroll from the heart of Milford on Sea, this beautifully refurbished cottage offers the perfect mix of seaside charm and countryside calm. With the New Forest National Park on one side and the coast just minutes away on the other, it’s the ideal base for families or friends looking to unwind and explore.
The vibrant village of Milford is full of character, with excellent pubs, wine bars, cafés and independent restaurants — a real treat for foodies. Whether it’s fresh seafood, a relaxed pint on the green, or wood-fired pizza after a day on the beach, there’s something for everyone. A little further and you’re on the coast, where Christchurch Bay meets the Solent, and scenic walks or the ferry to Hurst Castle. Coastal paths and walkable adventures.
Inside, the cottage is light, spacious and stylishly finished. The open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area is perfect for gathering together, with large sliding doors that open onto a lovely private garden with BBQ, seating, and lawn — ideal for sunny lunches or evening drinks.
There's also a separate drawing room with a desk and TV. Plenty of room for all to chill out on a saofa, or relax together with a glass of wine.

The attic room is a cosy hideaway accessed via a steeper staircase — you’ll need to mind your head, but it’s a brilliant spot for older children and nimble adults.
There’s a family bathroom with a bath and separate shower upstairs, plus an additional shower room on the ground floor.
You’re just a few minutes’ walk to the village and coast, but tucked away enough to enjoy complete peace and privacy.
Whether you're walking ponies in the forest, crabbing off the quay, or enjoying long lazy dinners by the sea, this is a truly special spot for a relaxing coastal escape.
Neighbourhood information
The cottage is tucked just off Barnes Lane in a peaceful corner of Milford on Sea — a proper coastal village with a laid-back, friendly feel. Just a short stroll to the village centre brings you to independent shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants. It’s the kind of place where people still say hello.
A few minutes further and you’re at the seafront, with views across Christchurch Bay to the Isle of Wight. Walk along the beach to Hurst Castle, or take the little ferry from Keyhaven — great fun
