Worton Park is a family run farm estate located in the historic hamlet of Worton just five miles outside of Oxford. In total we own and manage six holiday let properties across West Oxfordshire. In addition to holiday lets the estate hosts weddings, events and conference at Worton Hall, alongside a number of business tenants in our office units. At Worton Park the emphasis is on working together. The commercial and rural worlds co-exist in an environment conducive to productivity and environmental harmony.

Property information

Situated in the beautiful Hamlet of Worton, 'Stable Cottage' has been lovingly converted from an old Stable block into a charming two bedroom holiday cottage for 4 people. Located 20 minutes from Oxford, and 10 minutes from Blenheim Palace it is a superb base for activities in an around Oxfordshire. Our on-site seasonal pool, tennis court, and local country walks with also keep you entertained. Living/Dining/Kitchen: Through the front stable door the main living room, dining area and kitchenette are offered on an open plan basis. The room is equipped with a flat-screen TV, wood burner, and a modern kitchen is provided including a dishwasher. Master Bedroom: Features an antique four poster bed, high ceilings, and stable door to the private garden. Bedroom 2: Two single beds off the main living area on the other side to the master bedroom. Shower Room: Large rain shower, toilet, wash basin and heated towel rail. Rental of the property includes Wi-Fi, bed linen, and towels. A highchair and cot (no bedding) is also provided. Guest have use of a seasonal heated pool (opening times apply, pool is closed on Sundays) and on-site tennis courts.

Neighbourhood information

The property is located on a farm estate of Worton Park in the historic Hamlet of Worton. Worton has a rich history being mentioned in the Domesday book of 1086. During an archaeological dig, the skeleton of a large Plesiosaur from the Jurassic Period was discovered which is currently exhibited at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History. Worton sits between two small villages of Yarnton and Cassington which both offer lovely local pubs and places to eat. Oxford City is 20 minutes by car and Blenheim Palace is 10. We are also perched on the edge of the Cotswolds and you can reach Stow-on-the-Wold in 40 minutes.
