Enjoy a break in the Scottish, rural countryside in this newly renovated sandstone cottage. Just 6 miles from Dumfries and only 20 miles from Gretna - the cottage is the perfect base for your break whether you are looking to explore the local area or relax and enjoy some downtime. The comfortable cottage is fully equipped to suit families and welcome guests of all ages. There will be fresh air in abundance and the patio area with enclosed, private garden provide a safe & peaceful area for all.
We live off site but are always at the end of the phone and happy to help in any way we can. We provide a comprehensive digital welcome guide which should provide you with lots of ideas of things to do and places to visit in the area.
Quiet rural area. We are surrounded by farmland and so at times there may be machinery working in the fields around the house - many guests enjoy seeing this.
