My Boys at Stonelaw Cottage

The village has a dog field, an award winning convenience store, a cafe, butchers and two hosteleries. The cottage is ideally placed to visit castles, beaches, and walk in places such as the Kielder Forest, Ingram Valley and the Cheviots. The nearest airport is Newcastle International Airport approx 25 miles from the cottage.

I was born in Northumberland. However it was not until I moved away that I really appreciated its hidden gems. There are many castles to explore, miles of clean and quiet beaches to check out, or climb the Cheviot Hills. There are lots of hidden gems such as Mowick Ice Cream Parlour, The Chillingham Cattle and if you are lucky the Puffins at the Farne Islands. Best of all the people are very friendly. Once discovered you will want to return.
