We can recommend the best fishing spots along the River Tawe, scenic golf courses nearby, and thrilling mountain‑biking and motor‑biking trails in the surrounding hills. When we're not welcoming guests, you'll find us exploring local nature reserves, kayaking, hiking or enjoying days out with our children. Our cottage is nestled on the banks of the River Tawe, minutes from Morriston and Swansea. Families can spend days out at nearby attractions such as Swansea's Maritime Museum, Plantasia Tropical Zoo and beautiful beaches on the Gower Peninsula. Anglers will love the river on your doorstep and nearby lakes, while golfers can tee off at Morriston Golf Club and other scenic courses. For thrill‑seekers, Afan Forest Park offers some of the UK's best mountain‑biking trails and there are exhilarating motor‑biking routes through the Brecon Beacons. Hikers can explore waterfall walks and the Gower Coastal Path. You'll find shops, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants within a short drive, plus easy access to Swansea city centre and historic Mumbles.
