The Barn is newly renovated to a very high standard and is of medieval origins. Visit England awarded a rating of four star plus a gold award plus a breakfast award.
Monk Fryston is a conservation village of medieval origins situated between York and Leeds on the A63. It is close to the A1 network and to rail stations for travel to Leeds, York , Wakefield, and Doncaster and beyond. The village has two public houses and a restaurant.
