Enjoy a stylish experience at our centrally-located basement flat in the center of Windermere, in the Lake District. Recently meticulously refurbished to a high standard, this bolthole is the perfect space to explore the Lake District. Only 5 minutes walk from Windermere train station, shops, restaurants and 5 minutes drive to Windermere lake you can’t beat the location.
Windermere, nestled in the heart of the Lake District, is a charming neighborhood celebrated for its picturesque scenery and serene ambiance. This area, renowned for its proximity to Lake Windermere, the largest natural lake in England, offers an abundance of outdoor activities and attractions. Visitors can embark on scenic boat cruises across the lake, providing stunning views of the surrounding fells and woodlands. For hiking enthusiasts, the nearby Orrest Head offers a relatively easy climb with rewarding panoramic vistas. The more adventurous can tackle the challenging trails of the Langdale Pikes or Coniston Old Man. The town itself boasts a delightful array of cafes, traditional pubs, and boutique shops. The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction is a must-visit, bringing to life the beloved tales of Peter Rabbit and friends, making it perfect for families.
