New for 2023! The Cabin was designed to offer a luxurious stay. The Kingsize bed and orthopaedic mattress will ensure you have a wonderful nights sleep. There is a luxury ensuite, with gorgeous shower and soft towels. Open the vanity cupboard and you will find lots of little extras, from toothpaste, shampoo, shaving foam, razors and even shoe polish! In the kitchenette you will find a kettle, toaster, coffee machine, microwave and fridge. Each guest has fresh bread, semi skimmed milk and butter or Oat milk and dairy free butter alternative, along with a wide variety of spreads. We have also added an iron, ironing board, hair dryer and straighteners too. The beautiful armchairs and a retro bistro table will keep you comfy whilst you eat, work or just sit back to enjoy the large screen, smart TV with Netflix, BBC iPlayer, etc. Outside there is a small private area too.

Hi my name is Maria and I am an award winning Specialist Pet Photographer. I have been running my photography company Detheo Photography for over 12 yrs. I love creating things that bring joy to people and so I created The Cabin to do exactly that. I live with my husband, our two adult children, our dog Wilson and cat Leo. If you are not an animal lover or are just a little nervous around cats or dogs please do not worry. Leo will not approach you unless you call him over, and even then he may still, run off. Our property is designed so that Wilson cannot access the garden when guest are here. The only time Wilson meets guests is when they ask to meet him. But we do not allow the animals into The Cabin, just incase any of our guests have allergies to pet dander.

Set in the village of Little Hallingbury, just a few miles outside the market town of Bishops Stortford and a short drive away from Stansted Airport, The Cabin is ideally positioned for those who prefer to be just outside of the hustle and bustle of town life. Yet just a short car or bus journey away, you can still access it all. Surrounded by lovely country walks and close to places like Hatfield Forest, Camma's Farm, The Henry Moore Studios and Gardens and so much more. The Cabin offers guest free parking during their stay and is located just 3 miles away from the town of Bishops Stortford, with it's bustling with cafés, restaurants and a variety of retail outlets. For those without a car, the village is serviced by a bus that takes you directly into town. From there you will find the main train station, with links directly into London and to Stansted Airport. 3 miles in the opposite direction, you will find the village of Hatfield Heath, with it's lovely Tearoom, a Co-Op store, Gregs, a hairdressers and numerous other unique little shops and takeaways.
