We moved to The Castle Hotel in 2010 and have since fallen in love with the small quirky town of Bishops Castle & the surrounding Shropshire Hills. We live onsite & when we can get away we enjoy taking our little dog on long walks in the countryside.

The Castle Hotel is located at the top of the small hill that Bishops Castle is perched on. The hotel stands on the ancient site of the castle that once stood here. Panoramic views from our hill top gardens are the perfect place to relax and unwind.
Neighbourhood information
Bishops Castle is the Home of Real Ale. The UK's oldest licensed Brewery, The Three Tuns is located 50 yards away from The Castle Hotel, plus the Six Bells Brewery at The Bottom of town both serve up some of the finest Real Ales in the land.
Bishops Castle itself is located in the heart of The South Shropshire Hills a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. So why not spend the day walking in some of the finest countryside in the land, then back to The Castle Hotel for a pint of local real ale......
