Set in a growing woodland, in just under 2 acres, the hut and kitchen deck are private and secluded. There are no other guests on the property so you can relax and enjoy the space. We hope it feels empowering here and that you can be yourselves.
The hut is larger than average, and houses a queen size bed and plenty of space to relax. We've given you board games, drawing and painting materials and plenty of books and maps.
There is a kitchen and shower room deck, around 100 yards from the hut, where you can cook on the bbq or use the 2 ring hob to cook a meal. There's a small fridge/freezer and a coffee machine too.
The shower is gas powered and powerful, and there is a composting loo.
The surroundings are woodland and meadow and there is a large pond in the woods where you can watch the wildlife.
This is a nature-lovers spot - with a huge selection of birds, inlcuding owls and buzzards, finches and herons. We regularly see otters and weasels and foxes and badgers have also been seen by guests.
We're John (He/Him) and Dinah (She/Her) and we've been together 41 years this year. We love where we live and exploring the amazing views and roads from our motorbikes.
We have lived here since 2014 and we're bringing back the woodland areas and ponds and making sure nature gets priority.
We're always happy to share info on the local area, and ideas of where to visit and eat out. We also respect your privacy and will leave you in peace during your stay.
We hope we have created an empowering space that feels safe for everyone.
Our guests love the fact it feels so private here, but they are just a 15 minute walk to Llandovery which has wonderful pubs and restaurants and some great shopping. They tell us the locals are friendly and inclusive and that they find the food quality exceptional.
