The Cornstore is a beautifully restored barn on Ropers Walk Farm with breath-taking views in all directions. The location is extremely peaceful yet only a 2 minute walk to the village for local shop and playground. The playground has lots of up to date equipment and a loop which is great for scooters! The lively village of St Agnes and the great surfing beaches of Porthtowan, Chapel Porth (home to the infamous hedgehog ice cream!) and Perranporth are 5 minutes drive. Set in the heart of the dramatic North Cornish coastline it is a great base for walkers, surfers and sightseers alike. The accommodation is upside down to allow you to make the most of the great views. With an open plan living space upstairs and a peaceful bedroom and wet room downstairs it is very well suited to a couple. You will have free access to 80MB broadband during your stay and living area has wall mounted Smart TV. Outside there is a private sunny South facing garden because the sun always shines in Cornwall!! We can cater for disabled visitors - please get in touch if you need further information. Guests with young children should be aware that there is no stair gate at the top of the wooden stairs. Guests with a dog and/or children should be aware that the garden area is not enclosed.

Tom and I have 3 children, a dog and a cat. We have lived and worked in Cornwall for over 15 years now and feel this is a simply lovely place to be.. We live round the corner at the farmhouse and are happy to give advice on the best places to visit especially if the weather is not playing fair - you only have to knock!

Cornwall is great! We have easy access to the best beaches, loads of good pubs and restaurants all surrounded in beautiful countryside. There are great places to visit such as the Cathedral city of Truro, the artistic destination of St Ives, the harbour town of Falmouth and exotic Penzance and Marazion. The National Trust properties of St Michael's Mount, Glendurgan, Trelissick, Lanhydrock, Kynance and Godrevy are unmissable. Fancy a cycle? The coast to coast Bissoe trail and the Camel trail are an easy family cycle or there is the much more challenging Cardinham woods for the brave! That's not enough? No visit is complete if you have not made it to the Eden Project, the National Maritime Museum, the working mine engine house in Redruth and the underrated Royal Cornwall museum in Truro. Some culture? see a show at the Hall for Cornwall or the Minack Theatre. Slightly further afield? Have an adventure to the Lizard or Land's End - Please ask us about the best places to see.
