Stuart
Attractive two-bedroom flat in the beautiful Forest of Dean, with its unique year-round attractions and the River Wye with its outstanding Yat Rock view. The ground floor flat is newly renovated to a high standard and is situated in a large historic house. There are no steps. It has a big sitting room, separate kitchen and a high specification bathroom with a separate shower and bath. A utility room has a washing machine, dryer and sink. Off-street parking. Children and dogs welcome. We include many extras and you should find nothing lacking. There is a large playground with excellent facilities across the road. As is the Forest. You can walk into it from the flat. The house is in Mitcheldean which has shops and two pubs. We are near the historic market town of Ross-on-Wye with its many quirky shops and pubs, and antique and coffee shops. Plus its famous view over the River Wye.
Your hosts are Stuart and Di. Stuart has a background in journalism and communication. Di in acting and teaching drama. We love meeting new people and do our best to be helpful.
The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley is a popular holiday area with much to offer all tastes and interests, whether you are seeking an action-packet visit or a leisurely one. A good start is to browse the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley Tourism website. The Forest is very popular with cyclists and walkers at all levels. It has a fascinating history and was once a huge coal and iron ore mining centre. It is famous for some of its more picturesque and eery areas featuring in blockbuster films and TV series.
