The Garden House is a bespokely build little house in our garden. It has vaulted ceilings so feels light and airy. The bedroom has a superkng bed and ensuite bathrom. The sitting room has large french doors that open onto your own private patio. Perfect for breakfast or an evening tipple! The kitchen is thoughtfully equipped to meet your needs. The small entrance hall has a boot locker and multiple coat hooks.
I have lived here for over 20 years and couldn't imagine living anywhere else. I have a delicatessen in Penzance, The Cornish Hen which I also love being a part of.
It is always a pleasure to introduce people to the beauty of West Penwith and help them to fully enjoy their break.
I have a son, Joe who is currently studying at Bath University. We also have two beautiful Bengal cats who are aloof but ever curious.
This is the perfect place to discover West Cornwall from. The sea is a 10 minute walk away. Perfect for a swim or a walk at any time of the year, depending how cold you like your swim that is! Penzance is a short drive away, St Ives a 15-20 minute drive as are the beautiful beaches and cliff walks at Porthcurno, Sennen, Zennor and Lands End.
Gulval Churchtown has its own pub which is less than a five minute walk away, far enough not to be disturbed by the customers and close enough to enjoy to the full. The pub has recently been taken over by a new landlord and it is open seven days a week. The village also has a small garden centre with a handy cafe attached, The Agapathas.
One of our favourite places to eat is Tremenhere which is renowned for its amazing gardens but also has a lovely restaurant. You can either walk there across the fields or a short drive away.
A peaceful village where you wake up to bird song most mornings.
