If you have the ‘what 3 words app, our 3 words are: warned.pylons.connector We are situated in a quiet village within the beautiful Tamar Valley AONB, which is on the border of Cornwall & Devon. It is close to the coast & moors, Dartmoor National Park is approx a 20 min drive, so plenty of opportunity to explore. Our garden room is perfect for couples or anyone wishing to travel by themselves. It sits at the top of the garden with its own entrance & decking area. It is a lovely cosy space with all the amenities you will need for a comfortable & relaxed stay. There will be milk in the fridge for your arrival, plus tea & coffee in the cupboard.

Hi I’m Debbie, I was born in Cornwall, I have lived & worked here my whole life. I love the county for its natural beauty & that you’re never too far from a beach, moorland or woodlands. Cornwall has a lot of interesting history. Mark & I enjoy visiting places around the county to learn about it. Mark & I work full time but we may be here to greet you on arrival. In the event that neither of us are here there is a key box where you can access the key, you can also contact us by phone.

Metherell is a lovely quiet, friendly village. We have a pub here, The Carpenters Arms, a 15th Century, traditional Cornish pub & is only a few minutes walk. A 10 minute drive away in Callington is a Tesco. At St Dominic there is a medieval church with lot’s of history. Enjoy a lovely walk from our home to the National Trust property ‘Cotehele’, if you’re feeling extra fit you can continue the walk onto ‘Calstock’, where there are a few places to eat, drink & rest by the river before your walk back. Alternatively you can drive there. There is a bus stop at the top of the lane, there are taxi services nearby & a train station at Gunnislake which is approx 5 minutes by car.
