This gorgeous garden apartment, situated on the lower ground floor of our Grade II listed house, has been recently converted into a luxurious space which is suitable for both leisure and business travellers who want a cosy and comfortable but upmarket guest experience. Located in York's only Victorian garden square, to the west of the city centre, it is set in a quiet and peaceful oasis of calm, but is within easy walking distance to the city centre and train station and a 10 minute walk to York Racecourse.
York offers an abundance of cultural, leisure, hospitality, sporting, and other events and attractions all year round. This has been our family home for thirty five years so we know the area very well and we will be happy to give you any tips or advice about how to enjoy your time in York whilst you’re here!
A The apartment is in a very peaceful, green and leafy residential area but with easy access to the city centre, train services and road network. It is an easy stroll into town either stopping off at niche shops, cafes, and bars if you chose to walk down Micklegate, which is the city gate traditionally welcoming visitors from the south, or perhaps choosing to walk around the historic city walls which takes you to the heart of the city - the Minster - and art gallery and museums.
