Relax and unwind in the newly refurbished one bed Irishman's Cottage. The cottage retains many old features and is surrounded by the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds. The living space is open plan with ample space for a couples retreat or family break away. In the summer months dine al fresco and enjoy a BBQ on the private patio besides the wood burning hot tub. A short walk away is our private lake, where you might catch site of a resting deer or hare! Upon entering the property, you’re welcomed into the bright and airy open-plan living, kitchen and dining area. The space is stylish and homely. The tranquil space offers you a place to relax after a long day of exploring North Yorkshire. Get lost in a good book or switch on the flat-screen TV to catch up on your favourite shows. The dining table seats 4 guests so you can enjoy a delicious home cooked meal. 

In the kitchen area you’ll find modern appliances. Well equipped with an oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle – Irishman’s Cottage has everything you could need for your short break.

 The bedroom is a stylish oasis with calming neutral tones to provide a perfect setting to rest. This luxurious space features characterful wooden beams overhead and a large super king bed complete with pure cotton bed linen. This room will allow you to really enjoy some me-time while you a soak in the freestanding bath.
 The en-suite has a clean and modern style, featuring a powerful shower, as well as a WC and wash basin. Towels and toiletries are provided for your convenience.

Outside you’ll find a private patio, exclusive to Irishman’s Cottage, patio furniture and log burning hot tub. You’ll also be able to make the most of the scenic lake walks available on the site.

 Please note that there is also a sofa bed at Irishman’s Cottage which can be made up if requested prior to your stay. This will increase the occupancy to 4.
