The Edwardian King’s Head Hotel offers luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation in Great Bircham, around 20 minutes’ drive from King’s Lynn. This boutique hotel on the Sandringham Estate also features a cosy bar and restaurant using the best of the area’s produce. All rooms at the King’s Head are furnished in a unique and contemporary style, with en suites all including baths, as well as a separate or overhead shower. Large beds come with luxury duvets and plenty of pillows, and the rooms are spacious enough to accommodate extra beds or cots. The restaurant serves traditional British food, including seasonal local specialities such as Cromer mussels and crab. There are Norfolk steaks, chicken and pork, as well as a lunchtime menu of sandwiches and light meals. An hour’s drive from Norwich, Great Bircham is also less than 10 minutes from the stately Houghton Hall and Gardens. The north Norfolk coast, with resorts including Hunstanton, is also within 20 minutes’ drive.

At The Kings Head Country Hotel, we take pride in ensuring everyone's stay is a special one. With our team of friendly staff and not forgetting the friendly locals, we like to give each guest an enjoyable and memorable stay. Our staff are all individually trained within their roles at the hotel and provide excellent customer service. Nothing is too much trouble for us and we are always there to accommodate and provide knowledge on places to visit within the area. For a special occasion, if you let us know in advance, we can provide the extra special finishing touches either in your room, such as petals on your bed for an anniversary, card, chocolates, a birthday cake anything for that special occasion or surprise. Charges may apply.

This boutique hotel offers luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation on the Sandringham Estate. The hotel features a bar, snug area with a comfortable lounge where you can enjoy various fresh coffees, teas with a homemade scone. There is a spacious patio area which leads onto the lawn garden, with a seating area and a children's play area. All rooms at the King’s Head Country Hotel are furnished in a unique and contemporary style, with en-suites all including baths, as well as a separate or overhead shower. All our king size beds come with luxury duvets and plenty of pillows and the some of the rooms are spacious enough to accommodate extra beds or cots and some of the rooms can be twinned into two single beds. Our restaurant offers a an a la carte menu and all our produce is locally sourced. Please see our website for a sample breakfast, lunch/dinner menu. Lunch time service is Monday to Sunday 12 noon to 2.30pm and evening service is Monday to Sunday 6.00pm to 8.45pm. Within an hour’s drive from Norwich, Great Bircham is also less than 10 minutes from the stately Houghton Hall and Gardens. The North Norfolk coast with resorts including Hunstanton a traditional seaside town and Holt a market town are within 20 minutes’ drive.
