Welcome to The Lambing Shed, your holiday starts here! Relax and unwind with a nice pot of Cornish tea and a clotted cream shortbread or two. My husband and I love Cornwall for the fresh air, sea views, coastal and moorland walks; the delicious gastronomic food and lovely cosy Cornish pubs.

Quiet and leafy location, stunning moorland views across Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor. Within easy reach is Roughtor, a tor on Bodmin Moor; the site is composed of the tor summit and logan stone, a neolithic tor enclosure, a large number of Bronze Age hut circles, and some contemporary monuments. Also near by is Brown Willy, the tallest point in Cornwall. The barn is just a short drive to either the North or South Coast. Trebarwith Strand, Boscastle, Tintagel, Port Isaac are all within 25 minutes on the North Coast and Lostwithiel and Fowey on the South Coast. Slightly further afield are the lovely coastal towns of Padstow and Wadebridge all reachable within approximately 35 minutes. The Eden project is magnificent and easily reachable by car in 30 minutes. Lots to see and do from enjoying the ancient moors, the stunning rocky coastline, to visiting many sandy beeches, taking part in the water sports of paddle boarding or surfing through to visiting the Eden Project, enjoying the many gastronomical delights of the area, or maybe try some wine or gin tasting, or perhaps take a boat trip from Padstow around the coast. Our local pub The Rising Sun is just under a mile from the cottage door and is a traditional moorland pub, with cosy log burners, outdoor seating serving delicious food and local beers. Within 25 minutes the 15th Century St Kew Inn Pub serves delicious food and is recommended in the Michelin and Good Food Guide.
