This 2 bedroom refurbished lodge is an ideal base to explore all that Carmarthenshire has to offer. Only 20 minutes to the Brecon Beacons and less than an hour to numerous amazing beaches. Pembrokeshire is also within easy reach. The nearest town, Llandeilo is a 10 minute drive away and was named as the best place to live in Wales by the Sunday Times. It’s a pretty little town with plenty of independent shops and eateries to explore. The lodge is also a short drive away from numerous attractions including the National Botanical Gardens, Dinefwr Park, the Dolaucothi Goldmines and many more. The property has two bedrooms, the main bedroom is equipped with a double bed and the second bedroom has two small single beds ideal for children. The well equipped kitchen has everything you need including a full size oven and under counter fridge with icebox compartment. There is a comfy sofa to relax on while watching Freesat on the TV. Wi-Fi is also provided. The lodge has double glazing and central heating so is super cosy on chillier days. The garden is secure and private with outdoor seating for alfresco dining. The lodge is located on a 10 acre smallholding with friendly pigs, chickens and sheep that guests are welcome to meet (please make arrangements with the owners Holly & Tom). We are dog friendly but please advise us in advance of your visit if you are bringing a dog so that we can move the sheep. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times when in the yard. The private garden is securely fenced but if your dog jumps fences please ensure they are on a lead when in the garden too; we have livestock on the smallholding. Guests must request permission if they wish to bring visitors to The Lodge.
