Architecturally unique, The Old Mount Manor is a character filled Art Deco style home on the Causeway Coast. It is right next door to Mountsandel Forest and the River Bann. Which incredibly, is home to an ancient mythological site which boasts the first siting of man in Europe! As well as this the property has river views and is a real sun trap for those long evenings on the patio by the river. The North Coast of Ireland is home to some of the best golf courses in the world. Less than 10 minutes in the car brings you to Royal Portrush, Portstewart, Castlerock and Bushmills. We are also the home to many famous beaches, film locations and historical visitor attractions. The nearest town is Coleraine which is a 15 minute walk away or a 2 minute drive. It is home to many eateries and shops.
Born and bread on the Causeway Coast. I first started with Airbnb in 2020. Since, I have won multiple awards for my accommodations. Bringing people to my home and making sure they have a wonderful stay is my dream job and I am very happy to live in such a beautiful part of the world. I am always a short text or call away to help with any questions. I will leave an information sheet with important things like how to work the heating on it but more than happy to run through things during check in as well.
Mountsandel is an affluent area a short distance from the town centre of Coleraine which is the largest populated town on the North Coast. It is famous as it hugs the River Bann and is of course where the ancient Mesolithic site of Mountsandel Fort lies. The oldest known settlement to man in Ireland! There is safe off road parking at The Old Mount Manor. My advice is to hire a car as it is the best way to see all the local attractions. The Old Mount Manor is only 55 minutes away from the International Airport. Coleraine Train and Bus Station is approximately 2 miles away which has direct routes to Portrush, Londonderry, Belfast and Dublin.
