The Old School House Rooms overlook the village green in the centre of Waterbeach which is situated about four miles north of the historic University City of Cambridge. The building itself was originally a Parochial Village School dating back to 1839 which was tastefully converted into a Guest house in 1993.
The bedrooms situated in the Old School Hall have been totally upgraded in 2017 and are all comfortably furnished double and twin rooms with large en-suite, showers,flat screen TV, free wi-fi and tea and coffee making facilities.
Waterbeach is a peaceful village situated just off the A10 Cambridge to Ely road with a direct train service to London and is within easy reach of the M11 and A14, with links to all the east coast ports. We are conveniently situated for touring the beautiful Colleges of Cambridge on an open top bus.
The famous Ely cathedral, Bury St Edmunds and the headquarters of horse racing at Newmarket are within easy reach. There is also the added benefit of ample off road parking.
