At our luxury eco air-conditioned retreat, we have everything you need to indulge yourself and get away from it all. The Pheasantry is an exclusive cocoon in which to do as much or as little as you wish; with three smart TVs and a secluded outdoor space, you are free to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Norfolk countryside. The Broads national park, the stunning Norfolk and Suffolk coastlines and the vibrant, historic city of Norwich are all easily accessible by car or train.
The space
Air-conditioned throughout, The Pheasantry is fitted to a very high standard with everything you could desire for a luxurious stay. There is a smart TV in the living area, with another secretly concealed in the foot of the king size bed and yet another integrated in the bathroom's LED mirror. A private patio and outdoor dining area with BBQ and chiminea and a hidden double golf net.
Amenity limitations — As The Pheasantry is set in the eaves, please be aware that there is limited headroom for tall guests on the far side of the bed due to the loft style character of the room.
As The Pheasantry is situated on the first floor, there is a flight of stairs to access the property.
Surrounded by farmland in the beautiful village of Wicklewood, we are close to the historic market town of Wymondham with its beautiful Abbey, supermarkets and direct rail links to Norwich and Cambridge. The village has its own local pub, while also being spoilt for choice with great places to eat and drink in surrounding towns and villages. You are guaranteed peace and quiet on your stay, with the only neighbours being the sheep grazing on a nearby field, or a herd of visiting deer, while the medieval city of Norwich, with its vibrant food scene and charming independent shops, is only a 20 minute drive away. We have been breeding the rare Golden Pheasant here since 2014, and The Pheasantry is named in their honour. You may get to meet Boris, our friendliest boy and model for The Pheasantry logo, during your stay, as he pecks around the grounds in search of titbits.
