This 19th-century coaching inn is situated between Matlock and Buxton in the heart of the Peak District. Located in the centre of Bakewell's historic market town, the property is easily accessible for visiting Haddon Hall, a 5-minute drive away. Located on the edge of the Chatsworth Estate, Chatsworth House can be reached by a short 10-minute drive. Rooms are located either in the beautiful main building or the courtyard. Each room is decorated to a high standard and refurbished in 2020. Our Eatery Restaurant offers exciting menus, and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel has its own Coffee House serving a variety of coffees and specialist teas for all tastes. If you would prefer something different then the hotels bar offers a selection of gins, whiskeys, ales and so much more. Depending on the weather there is a small outside terraced area for guests to enjoy the local atmosphere.
