The Salty Mermaid is a two bedroomed fisherman's cottage, nestled in the heart of Whitstable's conservation area, just a stones throw away from the beach and town.
We are always available to answer any questions and contact details will be in our house book should they be needed.
Whitstable has many bars and restaurants. There’s so much choice, but we have outlined a few of our favourites which are listed in our house book. It’s always useful to book restaurants in advance during busy periods. The Salty Mermaid is less than half a mile away from Whitstable Station and a couple of minutes walk to the beach and Harbour Street which boasts many independent shops and cafes. Although we have no allocated parking at the cottage, there are several car parks nearby and free, on street parking. Food shopping and entertainment are all a couple of minutes walk away, as is the beach. Buses to Canterbury run from Harbour Street, at the top of Albert Street.
