Indulge yourselves with a stay at 'The Sanctuary'. Kick back, relax, have a sip of bubbles on us, as you bask in the sunshine or cosy up by the fire. Our beautifully styled holiday home in picturesque Knaresborough, is located in the 5 star Lido Leisure Park. Perfect for wild swimming, woodland walks, bike trails, relaxing by the riverside, or taking a level stroll into historic Knaresborough. Ideal for couples, friends or families, dogs welcome too (and will receive a special welcome pack!) We also provide Sky Sports, Disney+ and Netflix so you have all bases covered for a quiet night in.
Love visiting new places, returning to old favourites and meeting fantastic people along the way. We feel like after many years of holidaying, travelling and exploring we have created The Sanctuary by drawing on the best bits of all our accommodation experiences. Being family people ourselves we have made the space as child friendly as we can, whilst still being a relaxing place for all to unwind. We leave The Sanctuary for you to enjoy. Lido Leisure Park is a private 5 star park offering gated security, a riverside cafe, a family friendly pub with a range of entertainment and activities, a children's play area, ample scenic dog walking opportunities, wild swimming in the river and a beautiful grassy bank next to the river perfect for picnics and afternoons in the sunshine. A retail park is located a minute's drive from the park entrance offering a variety of outlets including M&S Food, TK Maxx, Homesense, Next, McDonalds, and Costa. The holiday home is located in Knaresborough and is a perfect place to base yourself to explore Harrogate, York , and the rest of North Yorkshire. We have private allocated parking right next to the holiday home. Additional parking can be arranged upon request. We are a scenic 15 minute level stroll into Knaresborough waterfront. The M1 is 5 minutes from the park allowing easy access to the surrounding countryside, towns and cities.
