The Story House cottage is a stone-built building with light airy rooms.
There is direct access to public footpaths and the surrounding countryside of the Mendip Hills, Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
A fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable living area with log burner.
Self contained, self check-in using a lockbox for the keys.
You will have exclusive use of the entire cottage and there is garden space for your use, with grass and a picnic bench.
The garden is not fully enclosed; there are planted borders/hedges to three sides and the remaining side is adjacent to the driveway that is shared with the neighbouring property.
The cottage is managed by the family who live in the property next to the cottage. They are available to respond to any queries, but the properties are separate and you will have privacy during your stay.
Located in the small rural coaching village of Cross, near to the medieval town of Axbridge and the wonders of Cheddar gorge.
There are two local pubs within walking distance of the cottage, in the village of across. The New Inn at Cross serves excellent food.
