Company information

We both grew up in the North East (Sunderland and Newcastle!!) and Bamburgh was always a family favourite place for a day trip. We are now lucky enough to be bringing our own family up here and the beach games and castle walks are now a daily pleasure for all of us.

Property information

We purchased the hotel in 2002 and we have worked hard and re-invested to totally modernise the property. Our aim is to offer modern comfortable accommodation to families, couples, groups and those travelling alone. Our team are like a family and we all work hard and are proud of what we offer our guests - from the accommodation to the food to our customer service.

Neighbourhood information

There are so many different things to do but our favourite is walking the coast, and the forests which are just a short drive from us. Our children love Alnwick Castle with the Harry Potter theme and have both loved the Grace Darling museum in Bamburgh when they have visited with their primary schools. The Farne Island boat trip was a huge hit with some visiting friends from Southampton as well as a day on a local beach, and a half hour journey further north to some Scottish beaches like St Abbs!
