The barn conversion is a bright and spacious house enjoying spectacular views of the countryside from every window, including both sunrise and sunset. The house benefits from an upside down layout with the living areas on the upper level, making the most of the views from upstairs. The downstairs bedrooms all have ensuite and can be king or twin bed layouts. There is a 4th sleeping area on the first floor, just off the main living area, that has a small double sofa bed, available on request (small surcharge applies) with en-suite shower room. Only a stone's throw away from the Wendy House is our Isle of Wight holiday destination, Tapnell Farm. The farm is just a 5 minute drive away or 20 minute walk (including walking along a quiet country road). Guests receive benefits here, and also on the ferries.

Today, (run by brothers-in-law Tom Turney and Tom Honeyman-Brown) we no longer milk cows at Tapnell, but the Farm has become the Isle of Wight’s leading eco-tourism business and home to award-winning Tom’s Eco Lodge and farm accommodation, Tapnell Farm Park, The Cow Restaurant & Bar, Isle of Wight Aqua Park, Isle of Wight Football Golf and Padel Tennis. Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do, whether taking water from our bore hole to supply the farm, using the sun to make electricity for hundreds of homes, powering our heating systems with our biomass boiler or growing over 30 acres of new woodland and hedgerows. It’s ingrained in everything we do. The golden rule for us is to pass on our farm in better environmental and productive health than it was at the beginning of our life’s tenure. There’s still much to do and we are certainly up for the challenge!
