A bit about me, i'm a married, dad of two and love getting out there trail running, mountain biking, climbing and generally exploring, whether that's camping, or or staying in serviced accommodation. I love staying in the UK, whether that our coastal regions, countryside or city get-aways. Shrewsbury, a culturally rich and charming town where the old and new meet complement each other perfectly. Steeped in history, boasting a thriving arts and restaurant scene, and surrounded by some of the most scenic rolling countryside in the UK. Shrewsbury is a medieval market town dating from 901. The town centre sits famously within the loop of the River Severn and boasts nearly half as many independent retailers as big chains (it reportedly has the longest street of intendent shops in the UK – the Wyle Cop’). You’ll never be stuck for a cool place to grab a coffee or an interesting pitstop for a bite to eat.
