Sweetcombe Cottage Holidays is a locally based self-catering agency focusing on East Devon. Established over 35 years ago with just a handful of cottages, the company has grown to the point where we now successfully market a wide variety of properties throughout the region. From the start we were determined to build up a reputation for offering only the best of properties. The company has grown, but everyone involved still holds true to the combination of commitment and professionalism that is the foundation of the company's success. Family run to this day, we are still able to offer that personal service which sadly in today's ever increasing pace of life can sorely fall by the wayside.

Thimble Cottage is just a five-minute walk to the seafront and shops this cottage is located in a quiet residential area of Sidmouth. Thimble is a beautiful, cosy cottage with an open plan living area and high-quality bathrooms. It forms part of a pretty row of similar cottages and has an enclosed rear courtyard The front door leads to an entrance hall with a door to the right leading into the spacious sitting room/dining room beautifully furnished with many homely touches. There is a victorian style fireplace with gas living flame fire. The bright fully fitted kitchen with fridge, freezer and dishwasher and french doors to sunny enclosed courtyard with patio table and chairs, and side access for bike storage. At the rear of the kitchen is a utility and shower room with a double size shower, washing machine and W.C. From the entrace hall, stairs to first floor. The master bedroom has a super king 6' bed and fitted bedroom furniture, the second bedroom has twin beds. From the hallway there are two steps down to the luxurious bathroom with Victorian claw foot free standing bath, shower cubicle and W.C. There is unrestricted roadside parking along the lane in front of the cottage. Alternatively, Jacobs Ladder long stay car park is a 5-minute walk away. Tickets are 25 pounds per week and cover all East Devon council car parks.

Guests can explore the Jurassic Coast whilst enjoying stunning walks in Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and The South West Coast Path. The Donkey Sanctuary, Crealy and Pecorama are all nearby for fun filled days with the kids. There are a wide range of activities nearby, from Paddleboarding and water skiing to Golf at Sidmouth Golf Club. Sidmouth and the nearby local towns have a wealth of independent boutique shops, cafes and restaurants, including Otterton Mill and Lympstone Manor.
