Tidal Cottage is a recently renovated traditional cottage. It has an open plan living room and dining area on the ground floor with a wood-burning stove, and the bedroom and bathroom are upstairs. There is under-floor heating on the ground floor and panel heating in the bedroom. The bathroom features a roll top bath, and a walk-in shower.
PLEASE NOTE:Minimum short stay 3 nights available
Your hosts live close by and have been on Skye since 2008.
There is documentation in the cottage about walks, places of interest, and places to dine
Tidal Cottage nestles in the hamlet of Lower Breakish. It is at the waters edge and offers outstanding views across Broadford Bay towards the Cullin mountain range, The beautiful Ashaig Beach is within walking distance along the shore. Plockton village and the iconic Eilean Donan castle are a short drive away, as is the Michelin Starred Kinloch Lodge restaurant. Tidal Cottage is accessed from the Skye Bridge by following the A87 north for about 7 miles until you come to a 40 mph sign, continue straight on for about half a mile until you come to the Red Skye Restaurant on your left, and 50 metres on take the right hand turn for Lower Breakish. Follow this road until you reach a staggered cross roads, go straight across and continue towards the shore until you reach a T junction, turn right and Tidal Cottage is the 7th house on the left.
