Tideway is a comfortable 1st Floor apartment in a converted Victorian property in central Whitby. The apartment sleeps 2 in a double bedroom, which has a bright en~suite bathroom, with bath & shower over. Parking : A private Parking Space is included. This is situated on the opposite side of the road at the front of the Property and can be seen from the Living room window. * Please be aware that this space will not be suitable for Larger/Long vehicles * there is an outdoor enclosed yard at the rear of the apartment, accessed from the bedroom, Albion Place can be accessed through the back gate via the alley and some steps. The spacious open plan living area has cosy seating, Smart TV, and a modern & well equipped kitchen. From the Dining area in the Bay window, there are lovely views from the Railway line (used by the NYMR steam trains), over the Harbour & up to the Abbey. WiFi is available throughout the apartment. 1 Dog very welcome. As Tideway is on the 1st Floor, it may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Full payment is taken from the Debit/Credit card provided when booking. Guests who choose the Free Cancellation option, will receive a full refund if they cancel before 14 days before the start of the booking.

Situated at the mouth of the River Esk, Whitby is an ancient fishing Port steeped in history. The ruin of St Hilda's Abbey is high on Whitby's East cliff and looks down over narrow street and alleyways. From the Old Town, the Parish Church of Saint Mary, also on East Cliff, has 199 steps leading to it. Its Churchyard was one of the inspirations for Bram Stokers 'Dracula'. Other attractions include Whitby Museum, The Captain Cook Memorial Museum, Victorian Jet works, and The Dracula Experience. There are Year round events at the Whitby Pavilion complex, and our Blue Flag Beach has spectacular cliffs & Bays to explore. Whitby and the surrounding areas be are a beautiful region and offer visitors a great deal of variety at any time of the Year.
