Built in 1890, our cottage is one of the oldest homes built on the historic Lewiston Road in Drumnadrochit. While it has been renovated over the years by its previous owners, it retains many charming features of a traditional Scottish Highland cottage. The cottage has three spacious bedrooms—two doubles and one twin—two full bathrooms, a cozy living room, a traditional dining area, two wood-burning stoves, and a large back garden perfect for relaxation. With an internal area of around 1200 ft2 (over 100 m2) and a large garden, it offers ample space for sleeping and relaxing. The cottage is in a top spot for visiting Loch Ness area. It is surrounded by breathtaking nature, just minutes away the famous Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle (5 minutes by car or a 40-minute walk). We are a small family living locally near the Cottage. We love travelling to new places, meeting new people and sharing our love of the Highlands. We've personally decorated the cottage to create a home away from home for you to enjoy a true Highland experience.

The cottage is in a quiet residential area on the historic Lewiston Road, Drumnadrochit. Within walking distance, you can reach Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle and Loch Ness Centre. For a memorable Nessie spotting experience, you can take Loch Ness Cruise and Urquhart Castle Tour at Clansman Hotel 10 mins drive away. You can also take a Deepscan Cruise at the Loch Ness Centre, 5 mins drive away. If you are lucky, you may catch a glimpse of the Northern lights display outside our properties in the winter months. For hikers and nature lovers, there are plenty of fantastic and well-signposted hiking tracks at the doorstep, such as Great Glen Way, Glen Affic, Coitie Loop, and ancient Balmacaan Wood hiking routes. Nearby, Drumnadrochit has excellent road links for exploring other renowned attractions. Within 1-2 hours drive, you can explore Fort William and Ben Nevis, Glen Coe, the Isle of Skye, Cairngorms National Park, Outlander filming sites, and several famous whisky distilleries.
