Hermit Cottage is a traditional two-bedroom stone cottage, set over three floors (inc. the kitchen cellar) in Keighley built in the 1890's. Featuring an array of traditional features you're sure to love and an spacious Indian sandstone garden patio overlooked by trees in a conservation area. Being a short 5-minute drive to Haworth - home of the Bronte sisters, there's lots of attractions to visit (e.g. Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, Cliffe Castle, Riddlesden Hall, Haworth Main Street, etc.) and great traditional pubs and dining options close by. The cottage is also centrally located and close to other towns like, Shipley, Bingley, Haworth, Bradford, etc. Complementary Yorkshire crisps, coffee, tea, sugar and milk for all arriving guests. We're sure you'll enjoy your stay! Disclaimer - Cottage sits on a busy main road. Pets welcome (up to two) at no cost, but please notify me in advance prior to arrival.

Keighley/Haworth/Bronte Country is an idyllic part of West Yorkshire and guests coming here whether as tourists, locals looking for an alternative short stay, or even contractors/workers needing temporary accommodation will still surely enjoy what this region has to offer.

The Keighley & Worth Valley Railway is a heritage railway that operates a steam train service and is a 5-minute drive from the property. Worth Valley Fisheries is a cracking fish and chips shop that is worth a try and is about a 5-min walk from the property. Other attractions close by Cliffe Castle, Bronte Parsonage Museum, East Riddlesden Hall, Bronte Waterfall, Top Withens and a great offering of restaurants and traditional pubs.
