Welcome to Tyson Place, those of you who know Ambleside will remember Tyson’s shoe shop which has been part of the Tyson family for 140 years. The family have completely renovated the apartment above the shop making it a perfect holiday escape with fell views right in the heart of Ambleside! The apartment is spread over 2 floors and enjoys picturesque views towards Loughrigg from the bedroom, balcony and the living room. •Accommodation: Contemporary living in a spacious apartment featuring two double bedrooms and a dual aspect lounge/dining area. •Kitchen: Fully equipped separate kitchen with modern appliances. •Laundry room with washer. •Bathrooms: Both bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms with a rainfall shower, hand basin, WC and towel radiator. On the first floor there is also an additional bathroom with double ended roll top bath, WC, basin and heated towel rail. •Outside: The serene balcony off the master bedroom at Tyson Place, offers stunning elevated views over the rooftops of Ambleside towards Loughrigg and the surrounding fells. The small bistro set invites you to sit with a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine while soaking up the classic Lake District scenery.
