The Graythwaite Estate is family-run and spans some 5,000 acres of land, nestled in the beautiful English Lake District. It is home to the Sandys family who have lived at the Estate for over 500 years, since the first Graythwaite Hall was built.

Property information

The Ullswater property is a part of the consortium of beautiful stone properties at the Esthwaite Farm Complex, walkable distance to Esthwaite Water and the amazing and historic sites, including the Beatrix Potter House. You can also make use of the large lawned area complete with seating overlooking the stunning lake and countryside surroundings, so whether you’re a couple looking for a romantic break or a small family looking for the perfect escape to the serenity of the lakes, this apartment is the perfect choice for a memorable holiday in the hidden gem that is our Esthwaite Howe Farmyard. All of our Esthwaite Howe apartments are fitted with a kitchen with an oven, microwave, kettle and toaster, as well as basic cooking utensils and cutlery, etc. Each bathroom also has a heated towel rail and clothes airer. The communal laundry facilities with both washer and dryer are found to the right-hand side of the courtyard as you enter, which guests are welcome to use at their leisure.

Part of The Graythwaite Estate, guests will be able to enjoy a host of facilities at the Estate, the home farm shop which stocks locally sourced produce, and a host of walks and trails just around the corner with stunning tabletop views of the valleys and local waterways. The property is a less than 15 drive from the historic, sweet village of Hawkshead, home to many adored restaurants and pubs.
